I learned a valuable lesson today: 

You cannot change your situation

But you can choose the way you think about it

Pessimists will continue to dig themselves deeper into depression if they keep having negative thoughts. 

Optimists will be less stressed because they are thinking positive thoughts. 

An important key to this is remembering you CANNOT change your situation. You don’t need to change your feelings either. Accept your feelings and embrace them.

Understanding that you are hurt and embracing that is the first step to a clear mind. 

Ignoring your feelings only makes things worse.
